Journalist Mohammad Rahbar’s Passport Seized by the Embassy of the Islamic Republic in Malaysia

 

 

 

The passport of Mohammad Rahbar, a journalist residing in Malaysia was seized by the Embassy of the Islamic Republic in Kuala Lumpur.

While confirming this news in an interview with Radio Farda Mohammad Rahbar stated that despite the fact that his passport had been renewed, the Ministry of Intelligence has not provided permission for it to be delivered.

According to reports by Jaras, the Ministry of Intelligence has sought in the past to stop Rahbar from publishing reports on issues related to the Supreme Leader and the boycott of the upcoming parliamentary elections.

Mohammad Rahbar has 16 years of experience in journalism and has been living in Malaysia for the past two years working as an independent journalist.
