News sources have reported that an Iranian priest was arrested by security forces in the town of Fouladshahr in Isfahan.

He was identified as Hekmat Salimi who was the priest of the Old Pols Church which is affiliated with the Bishopric Church of Isfahan.

According to reports, security forces searched Mr. Salimi’s home and confiscated his personal belongings including some paintings on his walls. (BBC Farsi service Radio – Feb. 24, 2012)
