Workplace accidents claim the lives of three workers every hour in Iran.

The report indicates that at least three workers die every hour in Iran due to workplace accidents, and the failure to observe workplace safety measures is costing the country a figure equivalent to its oil exports.
According to this report, construction sites see 60,000 fatal accidents every year, and 46 percent of all workplace accidents occur on construction sites in Iran.
Other reports indicate that 30 percent of burn victims in the country are injured on construction sites and they often end up dismembered or otherwise disabled.
