Political prisoner, Ahmad Ghabel hospitalized at Milad Hospital in Tehran following brain surgery.

Researcher and opposition cleric, Ahmad Ghabel, was arrested two-and-a-half years ago when traveling from Mashhad to Qom to attend the funeral of the late Ayatollah Montazeri. Ghabel first underwent brain surgery last year to remove a tumor and has now undergone a second surgery to remove a bullet that remained there from the Iran-Iraq War.
