The actress Leila Hatami was awarded Thursday, July 19, 2012 the Medal of the Order of Arts et Lettres by the Ambassador on behalf of the Minister of Culture and Communications.

The award  recognizes artists for their creativity in the arts or literature, or the contribution quils contributed to the growth of arts and literature in France and worldwide.
