The wave of arrests and attack by Basiji and plain-clothes and also more pressure on Gonabadi dervishes in Kavar, a town in Fars Province, still continues even after nearly a year of Kavar events.

In continuation of these pressures, today, security forces raided the house of Gonabadi dervish, Mohammad Ali Dehghan to arrest him.

According to Majzooban reporter, today, on 6th Shahrivar 1391 ( Aug 27 2012) eight plain-clothes officers, without a legal warrant, attacked the house of Mr. Mohammad Ali Dehghan by creating terror for the family and were trying to arrest this Gonabadi dervish.

Security forces have failed to arrest him because he was not at home.

It should be noted that, with regard to the “pressures” and “sentences” by judicial authorities that have been issued directly due to the intervention of security forces for Gonabadi dervishes in Kavar county and with approaching the “anniversary Kavar events”, which has begun with harassment on Gonabadi dervishes by plain-clothes and security forces since middle of September 2011 ( Shahrivar 1390) and has still continued with unprecedented intensity so that more than dozens dervishes have been arrested and injured in clashes and a dervish was also martyred by excessive bleeding from a gunshot wound (martyr Dervish Vahid Banani) it seems that, movements of arbitrary and reactionary forces in the Fars province,(especially Kavar city) has begun again and this such actions and attitudes by the opponents of true Islamic mysticism, represents the pre-recorded program for new pressures on Gonabadi dervishes of Fars Province.
