Nuclear talks between Iran and the IAEA delegation ended in Iran with no concrete resolutions announced by either side.
While the Iranian party announced that certain differences had been resolved, the IAEA deputy head Herman Nackaerts announced upon his return to Vienna that they could not finalize a process for the IAEA inspections.
He added that no new date was set for the next round of talks, stressing that: “Time is needed to reflect on the way forward.”
World powers are set to meet with Iran in March to discuss their disputes over Iran’s nuclear program, and the failure of the IAEA talks to achieve a concrete breakthrough has made Western diplomats pessimistic about the prospects of those upcoming talks.
