Nowruz, the Iranian New Year’s Eve Celebration was held in front of prisons by the families of imprisoned Gonabadi Dervishes in Tehran’s Evin and Shiraz’s Adel Abad prison on Wednesday, Esfand 30, 1391 (March 20, 2013).
According to Majzooban Noor, jailed Dervishes’s families in Shiraz’s Adel Abad prison and imprisoned Dervishes’s families in Tehran’s Evin prison took coordinated action to Celebrate Nowruz in front of prisons in order to support and being close to their imprisoned loved ones.
They set-up the Haft Seen spreading tablecloth near the prison visitors’ entrance door.
It is important to say that, during New Year celebrations, the families of imprisoned Gonabadi Dervishes in Shiraz’s Adel Abad prison were confronted with security forces  clash and riot police officers which in their Haft Seen spreading tablecloth and posters of detained Dervishes were all collected by security forces and seven family members of Dervish prisoners including Sadegh Moradi, Behnam Yadollahi and Mehran Sadeghi, arrested who were released after several hours of interrogation. Security forces also seized four vehicles of Dervishes.
It should be reminded that Dervishes’s lawyers and Majzooban Noor website’s managers (Nematollahi Gonabadi Order News Site) Messrs. Hamid Reza Moradi, Mostafa Daneshjou, Amir Eslami, Farshid Yadollahi, Afshin Karampour and Reza Entesari have been held in Tehran’s Evin prison for near 20 months and since 26th of Day 1391 ( Jan 15, 2013) under order from judge Salavati have been put in the basement cells of the Section 209 of Evin prison and are deprived of their basic rights (such as Daily recess, Telephone, Correspondence and even the prison medical service) …
Saleh Moradi and Kasra Nouri, two Gonabadi dervishes who are behind bars for more than 19 months in Shiraz’s Adel Abad prison , lunched the hunger strike to protest illegal transfer of seven Gonabadi dervishes’s lawyers and Majzooban Noor website managers to solitary confinement of Evin prison on 27th of Dey 1391 ( Jan 15, 2013). Saleh Moradi and Kasra Nouri who are now on 65th day of their hunger strike, by expressing concern about dire health of all jailed Dervish lawyers especially Hamid Moradi and Mostafa Daneshjou, required prison officials to transfer back them to the general ward of Evin Prison and called attention to their poor health status but unfortunately their request has not been answered yet.
