Nosrat Tabasi Request for Restitution Hearing Is Accepted by Iran Supreme Court

The Supreme Court may hold a hearing on the restitution due to objection by the Gonabadi Dervish, Nosrat Tabasi about his 5-year prison sentence.
According to Majzooban Noor, Nosrat Tabasi, has been sentenced to six months imprisonment and four years and six months of suspended jail term on charge of “gathering and colluding to disturb national security” in Branch 26 of Tehran’s Revolutionary Court presided over by Judge Pirabbasi in September 2012. The same sentence was upheld on appeal.
He filed a request for restitution hearing to the Supreme Court. According to the Supreme Court, that request was accepted and another court that will handle Nosrat Tabasi’s case will be held on Mehr 1392 (October 2013).
Gonabadi Dervish, Nosrat Tabasi, was arrested along with 15 dervish lawyers and managers of Majzooban Noor website ( Nematollahi Gonabadi Order News Site) in Shahrivar 1390 (September 7 2011) in Tehran and was held in solitary confinement and interrogated in Evin prison’s security section for more than 1 month.
It is important to say that among those arrested in last Shahrivar (September 2011) seven Gonabadi dervishes ( Messrs. Hamid Reza Moradi Sarvestani, Amir Eslami, Mostafa Daneshjou, Farshid Yadollahi, Afshin Karampour, Omid Behroozi and Reza Entesari ) are still being held in Ward 350 Evin prison for more than 22 months without charge and trial.
