On the eve of second anniversary of the bloody tragedy of Kavar events a troubling new movement against the Dervishes has been begun in the town of Kavar by anonymous groups.
According to Majzooban Noor, in mid-Tir 90 (July 2011) some extremist forces have gathered in front of Gonabadi Dervishes and with the offensive slogans against Dervishes caused conflicts in kavar town in Fars Province. Since Shahrivar 1390 (September 2011) following the attacks by Basiji and plain-clothes on Gonabadi Dervishes in Kavar town that was instigated and led by a theologian named Shahbazi, which resulted the death of one Dervish called ” Vahid Banani” who was killed by a gun-shut in police checkpoint, so many file cases opened against Gonabadi Dervishes in court, and despite repeated Dervishes complaints to Judiciary systems, up to now no deal had been done yet to the principal offender of Kavar event. But the pressures on Gonabadi Dervishes increased, so on, during this period more than 30 cases opened against Dervishes, more than 100 Gonabadi Dervishes in the city of Kavar, arrested, beaten, and without receiving written summons have been tried. Now, on the eve of the second anniversary of Kavar horrible events, again, a troubling new movement against the Gonabadi Dervishes has been started by some anti-sufi fanatics and enemies of real Sufism Islamic Mysticism in the town of Kavar, near Shiraz in Fars province.
According to the report, since the last few weeks, the Basiji students in Theology in order to provoke people against peaceful Dervishes, disrupt public order and rioting in the city have made speeches with CDs distribution against mysticism and the great sufi masters.
These religious fanatics have sprayed graffiti on the walls of Dervishes’s houses and work-places in order to carry out their evil plans.
However, after two years of Kavar horrible events, despite repeated Dervishes complaints to Judiciary systems, no deal has been done yet to the main causes of Kavar conflict. Even there is no progress on case of martyr Vahid Banani who was killed by security forces’ bullets despite this clear evidence.
