Iranian President Hassan Rohani is expected to hold separate talks September 12 in Bishkek with his Russian and Chinese counterparts, Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping.
The talks come a day before a summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
The Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry said the presidents of SCO member states China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan will focus on issues related to regional and world security at the September 13 summit.
President Hamid Karzai of Afghanistan — which along with Iran, India, Mongolia, and Pakistan is an SCO observer state — has already arrived in Bishkek.
The Chinese president signed agreements worth billions of dollars with the leaders of Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan before arriving in Kyrgyzstan.
