Mahmoud Sadeqi, the head of the State Security Forces Immigration and Passport Police said that those who have their passports with them can also get an individual passport.

“Ladies who intend to get an individual passport have to have a letter from their husbands along with them”.
“There is no need for the permission of one’s husband for a [family] passport because the person can only go on a trip with her husband with this kind of a passport”, he added.
