Two Armenian nationals were sentenced to prison, flogging and a fine
by the Jolfa Penal Court on charges of smuggling alcohol. Both of these two convicts identified as A.Kh and S.Gh were sentenced
to six months of prison and 48 lashes by branch 101 of the Jolfa Penal

According to this report, the sentence has been finalized and is
obligatory after it was upheld by the 14th branch of the Eastern
Azarbaijan Court of Review.S
