The Islamic Republic of Iran representative’s reply to 2nd annual report of Mr. Ahmed Shaheed:
On UN special envoy’s report on the breach of human rights on Muslim minority’s rights like; Nematollahi Gonabadi Dervishes by justice department of the Islamic Republic of Iran who has prepared and presented , has had a great negative affect on people of Iran and specially on Dervishes.
This distractive affect is on people who historically have been the pioneers of human rights, sadly today the same nation are oppressed by a bunch of fanatics with their unwise and wrong understandings of religious references.
These fundamentalist groups have tried to represent their political ruler as ” Divine ” and have also tried to show their inhuman action and pressures on people as ” God’s verdicts”. They deny all breaches of human rights by policies which are all lies and cheatings.
At this age, the beginning of Third Millennium, our nation sadly are living under pre civilized middle ages who have no right to freedom of expressions and even for believing in an Idea, they must face torture, prison, house imprisonment and exiled. It is shameful for this nation, whose judiciary authorities reply to all nations of the world i.e. UN, with absolute lies and more shameful is that on the contrary they try to show Iran as a centre of freedom and where the rule of law is implemented. If this was true then one can ask why the Dervishes are being sacked from all government jobs, and graduate studies which are implemented be secret official orders.
They claim that Dervishes are not suppressed because of their beliefs. Their pretence on this issue is contrary to official secret under issued Ministry of Intelligence to the Court of Revolution accompanied by interrogation forms taken from seven human rights activists and lawyers who are Dervishes and are given long prison sentences at Evin prison. The most clear accusation upon these Dervishes are ” membership in the Dervish group which in anti-security ” and ” active defenders of Gonabadi group”. These accusations are also copied by the branch 15 of Tehran Revolution Court and have been implemented in the written verdict.
The seven Dervishes mentioned above, are also given ” five years’ deprivation of membership in any sect “.
If the Iranian authorities are not against the Dervishes’s beliefs and they claim that they are imprisoned for security reasons, then why are they given the sentences of being Dervish and membership in Dervish sect ? On the other hand, it is obvious that the authorities are trying to substitute the ” Dervish membership ” by false accusations such as ” actions against national security” or ” interviews with the foreign media ” and ” distribution of lies in society ” and etc…
In reality the regime is trying to change ” the Prisoners of Conscience ” to ” prisoners of security “.
Another point in the reply of Iran representative to the report of Mr. Ahmed Shaheed is the problem of attacking the religious centers of Muslim Dervishes in Iran. All the atrocities and destruction of all houses of worship belonged to Gonabadi Dervishes during the past years in the cities of Qom, Broujerd, Isfahan, Kish, Charmehin, Karaj, Semnan, Shahrekourd, Hamedan and Beidokht, have been done on the policies of discrimination and religious beliefs of Dervishes. All existing official documents show the hostility of the regime with the Sufism and Islamic mysticism beliefs, therefore accusations upon them have nothing to do the ” security “. It has been for years that political exercised of Iran’s policies are that; they site right in front of other side, ” eye to eye keep on talking lies ” , this has become a routine act in their policies which in being blalent day by day.
But we strongly believe that by awakening people of Iran, all these breaches of human rights will be stated in our tomorrows history, and the oppressor will be held in front of justice and has to reply the truth.
