My honorable and suffering friend Peyman,

A prisoner knows well the meaning of being imprisoned, understands the agony of loss and separation. The tragic incident that resulted in the death of your mother and wife was an “accident”, but did not happen “accidently.” I believe this devastating event was the tragic end result of a series of imprudent and brutal actions. We know that there is no basis for imposing an unprincipled and unjust “prison in exile” sentence – a punishment that results in unforeseen and adverse consequences.

I humbly offer you and your honorable family my heart felt condolences. May God grant eternal peace to your deceased beloved ones who had endured so much hardship, and grant you patience and perseverance.

دوست بزرگوار و زجرکشیده ام ، پیمان عزیز
زندانی می داند که معنای حبس ، فقدان و فراغ محبوب است . حادثه تلخ و جانکاه درگذشت مادر و همسر گرامیتان گرچه بر اثر “تصادف” رخداد لیکن “تصادفی” نبود ؛ باور دارم که این رویدادهای خانمان برانداز تنها حلقه نهایی از سلسله ای از مظالم و بی تدبیری هاست . می دانیم که “حبس در تبعید” به دور از اصل انصاف و عدالت بوده و عملا مجازاتی بی مبنا و همراه با تبعات سوء پیش بینی نشده است .
اینجانب مصیبت وارده را خدمت خانواده بزرگوارتان تسلیت عرض کرده ، از خداوند برای آن عزیزان فقید و رنج کشیده آرامش ابدی و برای شما صبر و بردباری آرزو می کنم .
