The attorneys of Amir-Soleimani Hosseiniyeh (Nematollahi Gonabadi Dervishes’s endowments) by submitting a letter to the director of Tehran Province Water and Wastewater Company mentioned the illegal items in water bill that has been issued for the Hosseiniyeh (the house of worship belongs to Dervishes).
According to Majzooban Noor, Tehran Province Water and Wastewater Company
unlike the 18th supplemental clause of Budget Law that indicates water rate to all religious places is free of cost, in the last postpaid bill that issued for this Hosseiniyeh, demand for Cost of water rate and also set the payment deadlines which is absolutely illegal to ask.
Following this action, the trustee of Amir-Soleimani Hosseiniyeh in a letter to the director of Tehran Province Water and Wastewater Company by stating that ” As regards, the place belongs to Hussein Bin Ali and the word of “free” is written on top of the bill but the water rate has been calculated, so there are inconsistencies in the bill “, called for the remove the amount on the water bill.
It should be noted that, according to Act of Islamic Consultative Assembly, the splintering of electricity, water and gas is free of cost for Mosques, Hosseiniyehs and Daral-Quans and it has been ratified in the amendment to article 28.
