In the last week two Gonabadi Dervishes residents of Bandar Abbas whose names are Mohammad-Javad Esmaeili Shishdeh and Mohammad Zeinali was individually summoned to the Information office of the city and interrogated for several hours. They interrogated by the inquisition and were asked for informations about the other Dervishes in the city. Security forces with an implicit warning also referred to the risk of losing their jobs.
It is noteworthy that Mr. Javad Esmaeili has been illegally interrogated three times during the last month.
In recent weeks, despite official claims to open space for religious minorities, repression and intimidation against Dervishes have intensified in the country.
