According to Majzooban Noor reporter, yesterday, a group of Gonabadi Dervishes went to Ahvaz’s police station to seek restitution of their confiscated calendars and posters but not only the responsible institutions did not respond to their request but also, reported about a case against the seized property that submitted to the judge.
According to previous Majzooban Noor reports, on the first day of Esfand 1392 (Feb 20, 2014) security forces entered the Ferdowsi printing office that located in the city of Ahvaz and arrested two employees of the publishing office and confiscated 500 copies of the printed calendar, the pictures of martyr Vahid Banani, posters and effigies of Sufi grand Masters.
As the anniversary of “Dervish Solidarity Day” was approaching, the harassment and putting strong pressure on Dervishes has grown and signs are that it will continue to grow.
