Deportation of Farshid Yadollahi, Reza Entesari and Saeed Madani to Rajai Shahr Prison

Three political prisoners in Evin Prison, Saeed Madani, Farshid Yadollahi and Reza Entesari were deported to Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj.
According to reports by HRANA, prison authorities transferred three men from ward 350 to Rajaei-Shahr prison on the pretext of taking them to a court.

On 7 January 2012, authorities arrested researcher, sociologist and member of the Nationalist-Religious Front Saeed Madani outside of his home in Tehran. He spent one year in Detention Centre 209 of the Ministry of Intelligence, in Evin prison.
On February 19, 2014, Branch 54 of the Appeals Court upheld a first-instance decision issued in June 2013 by Branch 26 of Islamic Revolution Court to sentence Mr. Saeed Madani to six-year imprisonment (two years in Evin prison in Tehran, and four years in exile in Bandar Abbas prison, although exile in prison does not exist in Iranian law) as well as to 10-year life exile in Bandar Abbas, a city 1,500 km away from Tehran, which is Mr. Madani’s home town. Mr. Saeed Madani was sentenced for collaborating with organisations such as the Defenders of Human Rights Centre (DHRC) – whose offices were shut down in 2008 -, and for having published books and articles drawing a dark picture of social conditions in Iran.

Reporter, photojournalist and a member of Majzooban Noor website ( Nematollahi Gonabadi Order News Site ) Reza Entesari had been working for various TV Channels inside and outside of Iran. After the events of 1388 he was black-listed at “Seda-Sima” (Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting) and was banned from doing his job there. Reza Entesary was arrested without a warrant during the night time in Majzooban Noor website office by security forces on 13 , Shahrivar 1390 (September 4, 2011).

Attorney at law, a member of the commission on human rights and Gonabadi Dervish, Farshid Yadollahi who was arrested due to his religious beliefs and often is under pressure from the authorities. Farshid Yadollahi was arrested and convicted for defending the rights of Dervishes.
It should be noted that, since yesterday morning on Sunday 11 Esfand 1392 ( Mar 3, 2014), Farshid Yadollahi and Reza Entesari along with four other imprisoned Dervishes have begun a hunger strike in jail to protest the authorities’ refusal to address the demands of jailed Dervishes and also to protest the continued neglect of their medical needs.
