The health conditions of three ill Gonabadi Dervish hunger strikers, Hamid-Reza Moradi, Mostafa Daneshjou and Afshin Karampour in 14th day of their hunger strike, have reportedly deteriorated.
According to Majzooban Noor, these Dervishes are in critical conditions due to extreme weakness which is the result of hunger and lose more than 10 Kgs weight during these days.
Reports indicated that, currently Hamid Reza Moradi has severe leg, heart, and chest pain, Mostafa Daneshjou has chest pain and shortness of breath, and Afshin Karampour suffers from back pain and kidney infection. The weakness and being on hunger strike for 14 days have also decreased their ability to tolerate pain.
As previously reported in Majzooban Noor website, the imprisoned Dervishes had previously stated that they will go on a dry hunger strike, unless the Prosecutor office fulfils its promises to return Reza Entesari and Farshid Yadollahi to Evin Prison as well as proper medical treatment of the sick Dervishes in specialist hospitals.
