A group of Gonabadi Dervishes along with the family of imprisoned Gonabadi Dervish Abdolghafour Ghalandari Nejad, celebrated Norouz, the Persian New Year 1393 in front of Bandar Abbas central prison.
According to a report by Majzooban Noor, on Tuesday evening, 29 Esfand 92 ( Mar 20) the family of jailed Dervish, Abdolghafour Ghalandari Nejad along with a number of Dervishes residents of Bandar Abbas set a Haft-Seen table in front of Bandar Abbas central prison in order to have less distance with their loved one during New Year’s precious moments.
Currently 10 Gonabadi Dervishes are being held in Iran prisons: Evin, Rajai Shahr, Shiraz’s Nezam and Bandar Abbas central prison because of their beliefs.
Abdolghafour Ghalandari Nejad who appeared in his charges hearing on Sunday 11 Esfand 1392 ( Mar 2014) in Branch 2 of the Revolutionary Court in the city of Bandar Abbas, after refusing to deposit the bail had been sent to prison.
It should be noted that, a warrant was issued for his arrest after he said in the hearing that he has not committed any crime and would not post bail.
Abdolghafour Ghalandari Nejad is accused of “propaganda against the Islamic Republic” and “being a member of opposition group”.
