On Thursday, 14 Farvardin 1393 (March 3, 2014) Gonabadi Dervish, Mr. Haghdadi who is allowed for leading a congregation in prayer in Sarayan county of South Khorasan Province, has been harassed by police and security forces when he was panning to attend Dervish ceremony of night before Friday during his Iranian New Year’s trip to the city of Shush.
The security forces wanted Mr. Haghdadi to leave Dervish ceremony and get out of Mr. Mangari who is holder of Dervish ceremonies of night before Friday in the city of Shush. This issue was being contested by Mr. Mangari and other Gonabadi Dervishes which caused unrest in the region for hours.

“It is worth mentioning that, Gonabadi Dervish ceremonies of night before Friday shall be held always under full strength without any shortcomings.”
