Hamid Reza Moradi’s Father passed away from cardiac disease this morning in the city of Shiraz.
Today on 9th of Ordibehesht 1393 ( April 29, 2014), Gonabadi Dervish, Mr. Khalil Moradi Sarvestani, the father of imprisoned Gonabadi Dervish in Evin prison, died in Shiraz’s Central Hospital, after suffering a period of heart disease which was due to the stress that caused by his son’s incarceration.
According to Majzooban Noor reporter, Mr. Khalil Moradi Sarvestani who has had two previous heart attack and a stroke at the same time after the arrest of his two sons, Hamid-Reza and Saleheddin Moradi Sarvestani in 1390 (2011), during three years of this unjust imprisonment, due to his dire health condition, could travel from Shiraz to Tehran to visit his son in Evin prison only once. After this meeting he had repeatedly said: “I will never see Hamid again and will die!”

His another son, Saleh Moradi has spent more than 2 years in Adel-Abad prison of Shiraz for his religious belief.
It is worth mentioning that, Hamid-Reza Moradi, who has been admitted to Shohada Hospital due to artery occlusive disease, yesterday was taken to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) due to a extreme chest pain with shortness of breath and heart palpitations.
It should be noted that, in separate messages, other imprisoned Dervishes in Evin, Rajai Shahr, Shiraz’s Nezam and Bandar -Abbas prisons have sent their sympathy messages & condolences to Hamid-Reza Moradi on the death of his father.
