Gonabadi Dervish, Abdol-Reza Daneshgar who was working as an expert in project of conservation of the Persian leopard in Semnan’s Department of Environmental Conservation, under pressure and the influence of the Intelligence Ministry was dismissed from his position.
According to reports by Majzooban Noor, after 6 years of working on a contract basis in Semnan’s Department of Environmental Conservation, Mr. Daneshgar who had been a contract employee since 1390 (2011) due to a 7-month follow-up with the head of department, under pressure from Semnan’s Intelligence Bureau, was dismissed from his position.

Mr. Daneshgar has been summoned by Ministry of Intelligence agents in Semnan twice during the last nine years while working for the Environmental Protection and each time he has been asked to work as the Ministry of Intelligence informant. After seeing his negative response, he was threatened with dismissal and eventually he was fired from his job.
It should be mentioned that, this Gonabadi Dervish had been appointed public relations manager and affairs training for the Department of Environment in Semnan province because of his good reputation as he used to perform his duties with integrity, honesty, impartiality and objectivity.

These inhumane treatments and injustice impose upon the Gonabadi Dervishes by Intelligence Ministry and its agencies dependientes while Ali Younesi, president Hassan Rouhani’s advisor on ethnic and religious minority affairs, has repeatedly acknowledged that, under the current government , according to Iran’s constitution, legal freedom principle is being considered for citizens by Constitution.
