The house of four Gonabadi Dervishes residents of Kavar county have been burgled in less than a month which linked to an organized crime by some dubious thieves.
According to those Dervishes who their homes got robbed, in these robberies, in addition to stealing a large amounts of gold and cash (which seems as a backtrack) the thieves have also stolen spiritual books, photographs of Gonabadi Dervish leaders, Nematollahi Gonabadi order leaflets, personal computers and hard disks .
As reported by Majzooban Noor, in less than a month the houses of four Gonabadi Dervishes named Omid-Ali Akbari, (who is holder of the Gonabadi prayers ceremonies on the night before Fridays in the city of Kavar), Mehrdad Keshavarz, (one of assistant directors of Gonabadi Dervishes welfare), Mrs. Najmeh Paydar (an author and researcher) and Ali Panahi have been burgled.
It is noteworthy to mention that the thieves robbed the homes of those who are well-known and responsible for ancillary activities related to Dervishes in Kavar county.
The report also adds that, during the burglary of Mrs. Najmeh Paydar’s house, the robbers wrapped rope around her body and after beating her, stole papers of her compilation book which is the response to the anti-Sufi books.
Despite numerous attempts to follow up events and complaining by those who are robbed of their homes, the judicial and law enforcement institutions has not been accountable to them for the injury. This such dealing by authorities makes one suspect that, these robberies were done in coordination with some institutions.
It should be noted that, Gonabadi Dervishes in Kavar county have installed video surveillance camera in their homes in order to identify the chain robbers, who are interested to rob theosophist’s homes!
