The Revolutionary Court of the city of Bandar Abbas sentenced imprisoned Gonabadi Dervish Abdolghafour Ghalandari Nejad, to two years in jail.
According to Majzooban Noor reports, Abdolghafour Ghalandari Nejad is accused of “propaganda against the Islamic Republic” and “being member of anti-regime group with intent to disturb the national security” .
In the full text of his verdict that was issued according to a abstract of his case is a direct reference to his home that has been illegally inspected and whatever has been considered as examples of Criminal Content prove unlawful entry into his home, such as CDs and mystical books about Sufism. The Judiciary spokesman claims that no one is in charge of the friary and being Dervish in prison and being Dervish is not a crime but it seems that officials in fact consider that as a crime but treat differently in front of people.
In the Revolutionary Court’s ruling it has been referred to this Shia doctrine foundation as a faction and it seems that they do not have any information about mystical tariqat (path) and Gonabadi Sufi order. That is why the Gonabad Dervish and one of the collaborators of Majzooban Noor website, Abdolghafour Ghalandari Nejad who would inform news of Dervishes and the violations of their rights by Iranian security and judicial institutions while there is Dervishes news boycott, has been accused of being anti-regime and disruptive of national security.

Abdolghafour Ghalandari Nejad, is currently being held in Bandar-Abbas prison.
