Dervish Cleric, Mohammad Nouri Was Tried Without the Presence of the Jury and Lawyer

Gonabadi Dervish Mohammad Nouri who is currently wearing clerical dress was tried by Sari’s Special Clerical Court.
According to a report by Majzooban Noor, Mohammad Nouri a Gonabadi Dervish resident of the city of Sari was tried in Special Clerical Court presided by Judge Miremad on charges of “Joining the Dervish sect in Clerical dress” and “Attending the Gonabadi Dervishes-ceremonies in Tehran and other cities”.
Mr. Nouri told Majzooban Noor about his trial that the full text of the indictment was read to him for the first time in court session and also no one as an advocate other than judge and prosecutor representative was present at the hearing.
He also called the accusations of being funded by the mentioned sect (Sufi order)
and the communication between the great Qutb of order and leaders of sedition and foreigners, totally baseless and totally false.
In this indictment, the Ministry of Information, the IRGC’s office of public affairs, the IRGC’s intelligence unit and Special Clerical Court have been mentioned as plaintiffs.
Mr. Nouri already had told Majzooban Noor that he has been repeatedly summoned to Intelligence Ministry and interrogated and threatened to be defrocked. The interrogation sessions have been with insulting his religious beliefs and disrespecting great masters of Nematollahi Gonabadi Order in which they had even involved in his family matters. He had also said: ” In one of these summons, an official suggested him in the case of claiming himself as grand Qutb, he will be supported by the government.
