Kasra Nouri Transferred Again to Adel-Abad Prison

Dervish rights activist, Kasra Nouri was transferred from Nezam Prison to Adel Abad Prison in Shiraz, south-west Iran due to university examinations.
According to a report by Majzooban Noor Kasra Nouri was moved to Adel-Abad prison as a venue for university exams while based on criteria specified, prisoner should not be taken for examination to a place outside and the examination must take place at the same prison.
The family of this jailed Dervish told the Majzooban Noor: “The prison officials about the reason for keeping him in Adel-Abad prison till the end of his exams have said that is because of a security issue.”
Currently Kasra Nouri is serving his 4.5 years prison sentence in Nezam prison. Until recently, he was being held in Adel-Abad prison in Shiraz for nearly 2 years. All the sudden with no explanation he was separated from other jailed Dervishes and transferred to the No. 2 prison in Fars province known as Nezam prison.
Before his detention, Gonabadi Dervish Kasra Nouri (at the age of 23) was studying civil engineering at Shiraz university but now in jail, he is studying Law at Payam Noor university.
