Behzad Arabgol was transferred to the ward 5 by the Rajai Shahr prison’s authorities.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), this political prisoner was beforehand exiled from Evin prison to Rajai Shahr prison and he was kept in quarantine till yesterday.

His transference to the ward 5 is against the principle of the wards’ classification based on crimes type. He is now kept in the ward 5 along inmates with criminal offenses and illegal drugs offenders.

This prisoner was placed in a solitary confinement as a punishment after the events on “Black Thursday” of ward 350 Evin prison, and also he was beaten.

However, 7 other prisoners were exiled to Rajai Shahr prison this morning from Evin prison.
