More than 70 members of the Security Forces raided Section 4, Ward 10 of Rajai Shahr Prison in Karaj on Saturday, disrespecting the prisoners’ religious books and removing some of their property.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the section of the prison holds more than 95 Sunni prisoners of conscience, many of whom are sentenced to death.

According to reports, the Security Forces conducted an inspection of all the prisoners’ property, roughly handling their possessions and throwing the Qur’an and other religious books to the floor ‘under their feet’.

Officers also removed some of the prisoners’ personal possessions, including a ring and other valuables.
