The latest report from Dashti county in Isfahan province indicated the continuation of the incitement against the Nematollahi Gonabadi Dervishes, by religious extremists.
According to Majzooban Noor reporter, during the past two weeks , in Dashti county in Isfahan province, the mullahs who get on the minbar (pulpit) on the pretext of Martyrs’ Memorial have attempted to introduce Dervishes as infidels or “Wahhabi” in order to create a new conflict between Dervishes and extremist in this area.
The mullahs in the city of Dashti have also attempted to display edited pictures of speeches of the Shaikhs and the elders of this mystical order and unfortunately via this demagogy have the intention of stirring up the people against Gonabadi Dervishes.

It is notable that , previously the fanatical reactions of the religious extremists, that is far away from intellect and the law, against the followers of the Sufism, which is in fact, Islamic mysticism, led to destroy Dervishes’ place of worship in the city of Isfahan . Of course the mullahs and security forces had incited religious extremists against Gonabadi Dervishes so some Dervishes have faced arrest, been sentenced to lashings, or been forced to pledge not to attend Dervish ceremonies. Sufi shops were set on fire and their houses were attacked by a group of hardliners and many of them were injured.
