Dr. Asadollah Asadi, the Azeri cultural activist, has been transferred to solitary confinement in ward 240 of Evin prison after starting dry hunger strike.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Dr. Asadollah Asadi (64 years old) has served four years in prison and during this period he has been insulted and harassed in intelligence detention of Tabriz.

He has requested for furlough due to some family issues, however the prosecutor has not allowed him yet.
