Sivan Hossainpoor, the Mahabadi photographer and cartoonist has been arrested at his house in Mahabad.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Sivan Hossainpoor was arrested by intelligence service forces at his house, and was transferred to an unknown location.

An informed source said to HRANA’s reporter, “the security forces had rushed and investigated his house and have seized his personal accessories, lap-top and a collection of his art works”.

Sivan Hossainpoor is a famous Kurdish artist who had tens of cartoon and photograph exhibits. He has some group attendance in international cartoon and photographic exhibitions in his record as well.

There is no information about his charge(s) or possible place that he is being kept yet.
