Imprisoned Gonabadi Dervish, Reza Entesari who is currently being held in Evin’s ward 8 in the new wave of pressure against political prisoners in Section 350 in Evin Prison including Political prisoner’s transfer to common criminal wards of Evin Prison, refused to go to visit hall for several times due to being forced to wear prison uniform.
According to a report by Majzooban Noor, Dervish rights activist, photojournalist and one of the collaborators of Majzooban Noor website , Reza Entesari who has been dismissed from Radio and Television of the Islamic Republic of Iran in 1388 and also has been illegally transferred from political ward 350 to the public offenses sections of Evin prison since more than two months ago, refused to go to visit hall in order to protest against being forced to wear prison uniform which is absolutely against Jails rules and regulations. In fact, according to the first paragraph of Article 235 of Executive Regulation of Prison Law, political prisoners and prisoners of conscience are exempt from wearing a prison uniform, using handcuffs and footcuffs.
He objected that officials’s decisions would be changed weekly,
and as his family are living in other city, when they attempted to visit him in Tehran’s Evin prison, he has been deprived of meeting with his family.

He added: “To maintain the character of a political prisoner, I will never wear prison uniform”

It should be noted that at about one month ago, other imprisoned Gonabadi Dervish lawyers in Evin prison, announced that in protest against inhumane and illegal behavior toward two jailed Gonabadi Dervishes in ward 7 and 8 of Evin prison, Farshid Yadollahi and Reza Entesari, will deny family visitation rights to show their sympathy and solidarity with their brothers.

Reza Entesari, reporter, photojournalist and a member of Majzooban Noor website ( Nematollahi Gonabadi Order News Site ) had been working for various TV Channels inside and outside of Iran. After the events of 1388 he was black-listed at “Seda-Sima” (Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting) and was banned from doing his job there. Reza Entesary was arrested without a warrant during the night time in Majzooban Noor website office by security forces on 13 , Shahrivar 1390 (September 4, 2011). He was sentenced by Branch 15 of the Islamic Revolution Court in July 2013 to eight years and six months imprisonment on charge of preparing documents and activity in “Majzooban Noor website”.
