In the direction of dissolution of the ward 350, Omid Behroozi, the lawyer of Gonabadi Dervishes, has been transferred to ward 7, a non-political ward. This was ordered by the deputy of Tehran’s prosecutor in an unlawful decision.

According to Majzooban Noor, having resisted due to the illegal order of transferring to the non-political ward, and also intimidating remarks stated by the executive deputy of prison in use of any likely violence against other prisoners by guards of prison,Omid Behroozi made his decision to go to ward 7 in order to secure other prisoners despite his personal intention.

After issuing the order of sending of Omid Behroozi to ward 7 by Khodabakhshi, the deputy of Tehran’s prosecutor,the political and prisoner of conscience, Mr. Behroozi by considering this order as an illegal force bring refusal to accede this transfer, and declared as a sign of protest “coercion is the only way to transfer me”. Afterward, the executive deputy of prison in an illegal reaction to the statements cited by the mentioned attorney expressed threatening remarks to use any probable violence against inmates with the assistance of guards of jail.

Eventually, the following day, with the mediation of some of prisoners, the mentioned Dervish with regard to safety of other inmates and despite his personal intention decided to go to ward 7 of Evin prison.

It is pertinent to say that Omid Behroozi who is now in hall 3 of ward 7 of Evin prison, was warned by the supervisor of the hall while exchanging greeting with Farshid Yadollahi, another expelled Dervish to this ward, in the first moments of his arrival to the non-political ward.

Article 7 which is related to bylaws of classification and separation of prisoners (legislated in 85),and also Article 8 which concerns the bylaws of prison, both strongly stress the separation of prisoners with political charges from non-political ones.
