Prison officials have dispersed the newly converted Christian prisoners in different wards to block those inmates’ relationship in Karaj Central prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Behnam Irani, Hossein Saketi Aramsary (Stephen), Reza Rabbani (Silas) and Abdolreza Haghnejad are the names of four converted Christians detained in the Central prison in Karaj.

Formerly, Behnam Irani, Hossein Saketi Aramsari and Reza Rabbani were kept in ward 7 but on Saturday 2nd August, Reza Rabbani was transferred to ward 8 by the prison’s security order.

Also, Abdolreza Haghnejad who had been transferred to the Central prison, about a week ago, was transferred to ward 10.
This action of the prison guards which was intended to separate the new converted Christians from each other is inconsistent with the principle of separation of the prisoners due to kind of crime.
