With the order of the deputy of prosecutor of Tehran, Khodabakhshi, yesterday afternoon 27th of Mordad 1393 (August 18, 2014) the treatment of Mr. Afshin Karampour, one of the lawyers of Gonabadi and rights activist of Dervishes has been suspended and the mentioned Dervish has been returned to the ward 4 of Evin prison.

According to Majzooban Noor, following the order of the deputy of prosecutor and the letter which addressed to the prison officials to return Mr. Karampour to the jail as soon as possible, thus, all the treatments of this right activist of Dervishes were suddenly suspended without any prescription and permission from the respective doctors and then this mentioned Dervish has been returned to the prison.
He has been returned to the prison, while the period of the physiotherapy concerning the spinal stenosis and lumbar disc still has not been fully carried out.The report also adds that the lawyer and Dervish rights activist, who earlier had passed his confinement in ward 350 of Evin prison, now has been sent to ward 4. A clear and conspicuous indication of the intention of the judicial officials in the course of separation of Dervishes from each other.
Mr. Karampour, although, has been suffering from the spinal stenosis and lumbar disc caused by the damages to spinal cord for two years, was deprived of any clinic treatments when he was compelled to put on the prison clothes and also handcuff which came with his refrainment, an order which was issued by judge Salavati.
It should be noted that Mr. Karampour who has been sentenced in absentia by Judge Salavati, has to pass seven years and six months in prison.
