Following the abrupt transfer of Afshin Karampour, the jailed lawyer of Gonabadi Dervishes, from the Shohada e Tahrish hospital to ward 4 of Evin prison, Hamid-Reza Moradi sarvestani and Mostafa Daneshjou decided to come back to the prison to demonstrate their sodality and empathy with their brother.
According to Majzooban Noor, following the illegal and forcible action of the transfer of Mr. Karampour to the jail, Hamid-Reza Moradi and Mostafa Daneshjou by releasing a thankful message, appreciated all the medical staff of Shohada e Tajrish hospital and also mentioned in their message that “we prefer in the course of sodality and in communion with our imprisoned dears to leave hospital to the prison”.
The two mentioned jailed Gonabadi Dervishes wanted to be discharged from the hospital with their personal consent and come back to the prison in protest against the interferences of prosecution in the medical treatments of prisoners, meanwhile, their respective doctors have stressed and strongly advised the necessity of continuing medical care and treatment in the specialized centers for these both.
It should be mentioned that Mr. Moradi and Mr. Daneshjou, Tuesday, 28th of Mordad 1393 (August 19, 2014), left hospital in a private car by the judicial officials affiliated with the prisons organization.
