The appeals court session of three Gonabadi Dervishes with the names of Ebrahim Fazli, Asghar Karimi, and Mohammad Ali Saadi who had been shot and injured after being attacked by religious extremists and Basij militia members during the attacks in Kavar town on 13 , Shahrivar 1390 (September 4, 2011) and had been charged for “activities against national security and disturbing the public order” by initial court of Kavar and each was sentenced to two years imprisonment, was held on Monday 10 Shahrivar 1393 (Sept 1, 2014).
At this session, in addition to their lawyers, the current Kavar magistrate in that time, Mr. Sasani was also present.
Mr. Sasani was present in the hearing as the prime suspect in Mr. Vahid Banani’s murder case that according to the expert Committee of the Judiciary
was shot dead at close range with a pistol. But, during the hearing session, Mr. Sasain totally denied shooting Gonabadi Dervishes in Kavar county.
According to Majzooban Noor, on Sunday, 13th of Shahrivar 1390 (September 4, 2011), there has been a clash between Gonabadi Dervishes of Sarvestan who wanted to come to Kavar and plainclothes security forces. In this clash, three above Dervishes along with Vahid Banani had been targets of security forces gun shots.
Unfortunately, Martyr Vahid Banani, was gunshot in one of his main arteries by security forces and after enduring two days of bloodshed, died in Namazi Hospital in Shiraz, on 6th September 2011.
It is worth mentioning that, after the hospitalization of the three wounded Dervishes, they were
moved to an unknown place by plainclothes where they have reportedly been interrogated numerous times despite their critical health condition.
According to preivious reports by Majzooban Noor, following the complaint brought by Saleheddin Moradi, Kasra Nouri and a number of forty Gonabadi Dervishes against four clergymen named Shahbazi,Ghaemi (Ghaeminasab), Ghanbari and Akbari (Akbarabadi) who played a fundamental and leading role in stimulating the extremists and radicals against Gonabadi Dervishes in 1390 (2011), eventually on 30th of Mordad 1393 (August 21, 2014), after two years of putting the action, the first hearing to the case was held in the Special Clerical Court in the city of Shiraz.
