This morning, Thursday, 20 Shahrivar 1393 (11 September 2014) Evin Prison’s Special Guards under order from someone named Amir Karbala’i
raided the ward 8 where two Dervish rights activists are being held and under the pretext of inspection destroyed many of their personal items.

One of their cellmates told the Majzooban Noor that, “Until now we have not seen this such irregular inspection in prison. It is better to say that, in fact, the beds and personal belongings of these two mentioned Dervishes were Detonated! Their pillows were torn as well as their things and items were broken. This prisoner also informed us that the Prison’s Special Guards have also broken their cellmate items who has friendship with them and with “finance” charge is in prison. He added that, jailed Dervishes, Mostafa Daneshjou and Reza Entesari who are now on the hunger and drug strike, after being attacked by Special forces, were forced to go to prison infirmary but Dervishes refused to leave the ward.
It should be noted that these two Dervishes, Mostafa Daneshjou and Reza Entesari who are suffering from severe asthma, harsh hypothyroid lungs and heart palpitations, respectively, have gone on hunger strike along with seven other Dervishes in Evin prison and mentioned that they would stop the strike provided that the view and attitude on dervishes’ community as a security view to be removed and wiped out.
