After waiting hours and staging a sit-in at Evin’s waiting room, today, 23 Shahrivar 1393 ( September, 14, 2014) around 5 pm, the Prison’s Warden, Javad Momeni came to visit with the families of 8 imprisoned Gonabadi Dervishes.
According to reporting by Majzooban Noor, the jailed Dervishes’s families who have refused to leave the meeting hall from the early hours of the meeting until three hours after closing time, finally met with the Evin prison’s Warden, “Momeni” and asked about the recent crackdowns on jailed Dervishes.
The Families of Dervish prisoners who are on 12th days of their hunger strike acknowledged that: “Our spouses and children have no more demand of you but we will meet with all perpetrators of these such illegal actions and will ask them to stop issuing illegal orders and putting pressure on our loved ones in prison.

Mr. Momeni introduced the Judicial authorities as decision-makers in treating with prisoners and promised for urgent meeting and paying the family’s demands.

Families announced that will continue to follow up in meet with Khodabakhshi, the Deputy Prosecutor of Tehran (the judge who is overseeing security prisoners).
