Omid Behroozi Was Taken to the Central Infirmary at Evin Prison on 27th Day of Hunger Strike

Imprisoned Gonabadi Dervish lawyer in Evin prison, Omid Behroozi due to a sudden drop in blood pressure and seizures, was initially treated in the infirmary of ward 7 then transferred to the central infirmary at Evin.
According to Majzooban Noor reporter, his cellmates have reportedly said that, initially Mr Behroozi was transferred to the ward infirmary and given sublingual tablet but the treatment did not work, because he suddenly broke out in a cold sweat, a symptom of a heart attack, so he was taken to central Evin clinic. However Mr. Behroozi was getting sharp chest pains but just sublingual tablets was prescribed for him again.
Mr. Reza Entesari, another jailed Dervish in ward 8 is suffering from severe abdominal pain. Reza Entesari, a former journalist with the national radio and TV broadcaster, earlier, suffering from heart palpitations in prison.
The report adds that, Messrs. Amir Eslami and Mostafa Daneshjou, who are being respectively held in the wards 7 and 8 of Evin prison, briefly lost consciousness due to the severe weakness and were taken to the prison infirmary.
Mr. Khodabakhshi, the judge who is overseeing the prison, earlier had stated that he has been unaware
of hunger strike of Dervishes and noticed that the issue of the hunger-strike of nine jailed Gonabadi Dervishes in Tehran and Shiraz prisons is not relevant to the prosecutor.
The nine imprisoned Dervishes have gone on indefinite hunger strike in protest at the security view toward Dervishes as well as extensive rights violation on them. In a statement entitled “The Will”, they have announced that the hunger strike will continue until their demands which is ” removing and wiping out the view and attitude on Dervishes’ community as a security view ” are met.
