With the Purpose of Intimidation and Threats, Stationed Plainclothes Officers to Chase and Monitoring Dervishes

After protest gathering by Gonabadi Dervishes in recent weeks and following the increase of summons of Dervishes to the security police via SMS and phone and illegal security behavior in dealing with them, some full-time officers were appointed to chase some scholars and influential Dervishes and keeping them under surveillance.
According to reports by Majzooban Noor, in the early hours of this morning, Monday, 14th of Mehr ( October, 6) two motorcyclists have been appointed in front of the house of Dr. Ali-Mohammad Saberi, Gonabadi Dervish and the professor of Philosophy and Mysticism. So that after leaving the house, the officers proceeded to chase him and take pictures along the route.
He said that there were a large amount of gasoline on his car that was parked in front of the door, if he Just turned the machine on, or created any sparks, it could have catastrophic results. He has also reported the matter to the police-110.
It is worth mentioning that, doctor Saberi was earlier summoned to the Ministry of Intelligence and interrogated about holding” Meeting in Commemoration of Mystical Characters”. He was threatened for the continuation of such plans or programs despite having all required permits.
Also from yesterday, plainclothes men who riding motorcycles and stationed near the house of Dr. Shahram Pazouki were trying to chase him and monitoring his movements.
The report adds that, yesterday while Gonabadi Dervishes were celebrating Eid al-Adha (Festival of Sacrifice) in their place of worship ( Amir Solleimani Hosseiniyeh), the presence of security officers around there was perceptible.
It seems that these actions of creating an atmosphere of intimidation and threats are in order to try to prevent any protest from taking place.
Gonabadi Dervishes during the past 14 days had gathered three times in front of the government agencies, in the form of the “Migration from Iran to Evin Prison” campaign, demanding to end to the violation of the rights of Dervishes and the removal of the extant security-oriented approach toward them.
