Mostafa Daneshjou, the jailed lawyer of Gonabadi Dervishes, last morning ,Monday, 28th of Mehr 1393 (October 28, 2014) due to the harsh hypothyroid lungs and heart arrhythmia lost his consciousness and was taken to Evin prison infirmary for a few hours and then returned again to ward 8.
According to Majzooban Noor, The mentioned Dervish lawyer who is in the fourth year of his 7.5-year sentence because of acute pulmonary heart disease, being on hunger strike for one month and poor living conditions at the jail, was unconscious for a few minutes.
The prison physicians, performed only an electrocardiogram (ECG) and gave him oxygen and then sent him back to the ward while he has lost a considerable (at about 40%) of his lung capacity that led to his heart disease during his jail term.
Tuesday, 28th of Mordad 1393 (August 19, 2014) following the abrupt transfer of Afshin Karampour, the jailed lawyer of Gonabadi Dervishes, from the Shohada e Tajrish hospital to ward 4 of Evin prison, Hamid-Reza Moradi sarvestani and Mostafa Daneshjou decided to come back to the prison to demonstrate their sodality and empathy with their brother. Meanwhile, their respective doctors have stressed and strongly advised the necessity of continuing medical care and treatment in the specialized centers for these both. And in the note, the doctor has mentioned that Mostafa Daneshjou should be examined by a doctor once every 15 days. But Currently he is being held in a room along with 25 other prisoners with too short roof.
After returning from hospital to prison, he repeatedly lost consciousness due to his weak lungs and severe physical weakness. Also, on the 6th day of the hunger strike, he had gone on drug strike which put his physical health at serious risk.
It should be noted that, in his medical records, has been states that, the mentioned jailed lawyer was prescribed a period of cardiac and respiratory rehabilitation due to the cardiovascular and respiratory diseases in Tehran Heart Center but his request was ignored by the judicial authorities.
