General and Revolutionary Courts in the city of Gonabad summoned a Gonabadi Dervish to the its first branch on vague charges of “illegal propaganda”.
According to Majzooban Noor, Mr. Salman Hosseini Baidokhti had also been previously summoned to the security agencies by unknown persons via telephone. In court summons is not clear what is the mean of “illegal propaganda”.
It is pertinent to mention that, despite the huge wave of arrests, dismissal of dervishes from their work and exile, Islamic Republic authorities claim that no one for the crime of simply being dervishes have not been under pressure in Iran.
