A report by Majzooban Noor, a news source closed to Gonabadi Dervishes, said that based on the latest medical reports, Mostafa Daneshjou, the jailed lawyer, about 50% of his lung has been incapacitated. According to the report, the mentioned human rights activist without the approval of the respective doctors has been sent back to the prison by the order of the prosecutor of Tehran.

This report adds that Mostafa Daneshjou was returned to the jail on Wednesday, while the morning on the same day the deputy of the prosecutor had shown the permit of transfer of the mentioned dervish to Heart Center Hospital to his family.
Mostafa Daneshjou, nearly two months had been waiting for the permission to transfer to Tehran Heart Center in order to spend cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation.

Mostafa Daneshjou, the lawyer of many dervishes, in 2011 in the widespread and systematic attacks against Gonabadi Dervishes had been arrested. The Branch 15 of the Revolutionary Court inTehran sentenced him and three other lawyers of Gonabadi dervishes to seven and six months to jail due to the act against national security and propaganda against the regime.

Hamid-Reza Moradi and Afshin Karampour who also are among the other lawyers of Gonabadi dervishes, despite the poor physical condition, are still held in prison due to refusal of the Interrogator with their medical treatments.

Since one decade ago, the pressures on Gonabadi Dervishes have intensified, and many of them, including some lawyers have been sentenced to judicial severe capitals and some are still in jail.

In the time of presidency of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, these confrontations reached a new stage and “demolition of the places of worship of Gonabadi Dervishes” was added to the other constraints.

A number of imprisoned dervishes and their lawyers in order to relieve the pressures on the community of dervishes have gone on hunger strikes in group over the past years several times.

The gathering of dervishes in September in front of the office of prosecutor led to a huge arrest of hundreds of dervishes.

Mostafa Daneshjou who has been sent back to jail by the order of the prosecutor of Tehran, on April 2011 before was arrested, in an interview with the “Rooz” about the reasons of pressures on the Dervishes said that these pressures are the efforts of ” some radical, bigoted and authoritarian”, which can’t tolerate any ideas in any ground and context such as economic, social, political affairs, human rights and the most current issues in the country.

Ali Younisi, an assistance of President Rouhani, in ethnic affairs and religious minorities, not long ago in a press interview in January mentioned that “these behaves and confrontations with dervishes have been mishaps over the past years which have been out of the will of rule and government”.
