Hamid-Reza Moradi Sarvestani, imprisoned Gonabadi Dervish and human rights activists, who under the prescription of the medical team was being taken from Sina hospital to Shohada e Tajrish hospital for cardiac consultation, on the way without any prior notice was taken back to Evin prison and now has been even deprived of his cardiac medications for more than two weeks.
According to Majzooban Noor, the way to bring Mr. Moradi back to Evin prison caused inability to supply of this patient’s cardiovascular drugs by prison infirmary. Sunday, 5th of Bahman 1393 (January 25, 2015) Hamid-Reza Moradi Sarvestani, unexpectedly, without the consent of his respective doctors and any prior notice was sent back to Evin prison. He was returned to prison in very unusual way which has even violated internal evin prison rules. Because, he was admitted to Evin prison clinic while his medical records was not with him. Regarding this matter, the head of the Evin prison medical clinic has acknowledged that; “We have no information about his needed medicines and as the prison infirmary is responsible for the problem, the issue has been reported to the Prosecutor.”
The vascular surgery of Sina hospital in his latest report on this jailed dervish had emphasized to continue the medical treatments to follow up as well as to control the disease, and also avoid stress to prevent from worsening his condition.
The mentioned Gonabadi dervish, who has been sentenced to more than ten years in jail, is now imprisoned in ward 4 in public cell in Evin.
