According to Majzooban Noor, a number of Nematollahi Gonabadi Dervishes and inhabitants of city Bidokht gathered in front of the endowed hospital in protest the decision of the Ministry of Health to shut down and to convert the utilization of the only respected hospital in this city. According to the report, this gathering is still continued in front of the aforementioned hospital and requested that this medical center’s activities should be continued.

The Salhiya Hospital was built in year 1962 with the own expenses of His Holiness Mr.Saleh Ali Shah(the Spiritual master (Qutb) of Nematollahi Gonabadi Order at the time) and also with the cooperation of his followers and dedicated in order to meet the medical needs and affairs of people.

At a time when the people of this county were suffering from extreme poverty and deprived of even minimum treatment facilities, the construction of this hospital was a fundamental step in the growth and expansion of the community foundations of the region and, more importantly, could modify the health condition of city Bidokht.

After the revolution of Iran, by the order of the officials and authorities in line with the policy of renaming as well as conspicuous defiance and hostility with Sufism, the name of Salhiya Hospital has been changed to “15 Khordad” Hospital. And now, in the latest move and step the officials of Ministry of Health are in effort to pursue to shut down this medical center and to convert its utilization as well.
