International Sufi Festival India is an annual program to promote the teaching of Sufism and disseminate its knowledge.
Since its 4th session in 2014, it is taking place at Ajmer and Noida Film City in Delhi after accomplishment of three-major International Sufi Festival in Ajmer
The festival basically aimed to focus on spirituality by spreading the thought and message of Peace and Humanity of the Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishty.
It is featured by conference, Sufi Musical segment (Mehfils) and Sufi films along with the exhibition of Persian calligraphy, art, Arabic Islamic antique prints, Rumi paintings, abstract sacred art, Sufi text, literature and Poetry.
Gulsha Begum the festival director & Chairperson of Kamaluddin Charitable Trust is the inducer. She organize the festival in association with Divine abode, Kamaluddin Charitable Trust and Marwah Studios.
ABOUT THE ORGANISERS Gulsha Begum Chairperson Divine Abode Foundation, Kamaluddin Charitable Trust, Al Ikhlas Museum & Gallery, festival director for International Sufi Festival,the initiator of the Global Peace Mission in Ajmer .Gulsha Begum is a descendant of Gul Shah Chishty Qadria a sufi saint from the northern frontiers of Afghanistan who came to India and settled . His Dargah is situated in South Kanara district.
Gulsha Begum a Mysticis , Clairvoyant and also a Artist. Begum promoted interfaith harmony through her various programs to build a culture of peace. From a former actress who has acted in 7 films in South India, Model, Fashion Designer, Entrepreneur gave up everything and dedicated her life towards mysticism. According to Begum all her activities were part of her mystical journey. She has attended many seminars , conferences and been bestowed many awards and honours. She was honoured with life membership by World Development & Research Foundation, Indian Film & Telivision Research centre, Indian Film & Television Club. She was honoured with the Maharani Laxmi Bai Award for her contribution towards spirituality, Honoured by CDR & All Officers 340 (1) MECH BDE by Brigadier B.K Singh , Indian Army Nasirabad Cantonment for her initiatives towards nation building and awarded by Beary Sahithya Sammelana. She is actively involved in conducting Exhibitions, Workshops and the annual International Sufi Festival in Ajmer and Noida.
