Tehran Prosecutor Denied Furlough to Mamousta Mohammad Baraei

 

Tehran Prosecutor denied prison furlough to Kurdish and Sunni cleric Mamousta Mohammad Baraei.

He was arrested in 2009 for holding religious ceremonies and propaganda for his faith along with 7 of his students.  He spent 2 years inn solitary confinement in order to confess.

According to the Human Rights House of Iran, he was sentenced to 11 years in prison.

He is currently serving his sentence in Rajaei Shahr Prison in the ward of regular prisoners.
